04Text Messaging & Mobile Data
If you opt in to receive text messages from Avalanche, we use your phone number to send messages about your inquiry, appointments, onboarding and account. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We may share phone numbers with the messaging and CRM providers that send messages on our behalf, only as needed to deliver those messages.
05Client Lead Data
When we run campaigns for a contractor, people who respond to those ads become leads of that contractor. We process that lead information on the contractor's behalf and under their instructions, to deliver follow-up, booking and reporting. If you were contacted by a contractor we work with and want your information removed, contact that contractor directly, or email us and we will pass the request along and stop processing on our side.
06Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies, pixels and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, analytics tools, and CRM tracking, to remember preferences, measure traffic, attribute ad results and show relevant ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, adjust your ad preferences in your Meta account, and use available opt-out tools offered by ad networks. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the Site work.
07How We Share Information
We share information only as needed to run our business and deliver the Services:
- Service providers that host, process or support our work, such as CRM and automation platforms, ad platforms, scheduling, video conferencing and call recording tools, payment processors, email and SMS providers, AI providers, and website hosting.
- Team members and contractors bound by confidentiality, who need the information to do their work.
- Clients, with respect to lead data generated for their business.
- Legal and safety purposes, when required by law or to protect rights, property or safety.
- Business transfers, such as a merger or sale, where information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
SMS opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties for their own marketing, as stated in Section 4.
08Call Recording & AI
Sales, kickoff and support calls may be recorded and transcribed for quality, training and service delivery. We tell participants at the start of a recorded call. Our AI tools, including our AI appointment setter, may process messages and lead details to respond, qualify and book appointments. We do not permit our AI providers to use your information to train their public models where that option is available to us.
09Data Retention
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, including active client relationships, plus a reasonable period for legal, tax and accounting needs. Client lead data is kept for the duration of the engagement and up to 90 days after, unless the client asks for earlier deletion or the law requires otherwise.
10Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including access controls and secure, reputable providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your CRM and portal logins private.
